Nagole: Local corporator Cheruku Sangeetha Prashant Goud handed over Ramzan gift, a scheme introduced by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, to Muslims on the eve of Ramzan festival in Masjid-e-Aksha and Masjid-e-Yasin Begum located at Jaipuri Colony of Nagole division on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the corporator said that the state voters reposed faith on the TRS government as the fruits of several welfare schemes initiated by the CM KCR have reached every section of the society. As part of minority welfare, the Ramzan gifts are being handed over to Muslims as the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao wishes every Muslim in the state to celebrate the festival with happiness. She extended advance Ramzan greetings to Muslim families living in the state.

Among those who participated in the program include masjid elders Chand Pasha, Shafi, Afzal, Maulana Naseem, Yousuf, Rafiq, Latif, Sharukh, Rahath Ali, Unnisa Begum, ward members Uma Devi, T Krishna, Raghavender, Lakshmi, Andalu and others.
