Asif Nagar: The residents of Taj Nagar Colony are outraged against the local civic authorities for not clearing garbage from the dump at Taj Nagar Colony in Asif Nagar. The locals allege that the GHMC workers have not been clearing the garbage from the past several weeks. It is causing a lot of distress among the residents.
A local resident said, "The garbage has not been cleared from the past few weeks and now there is a pile of stinking garbage, which smells very bad. Dogs and rodents are found scavenging through the garbage for food. Due to the rains on Monday, the condition has become even worse. We have informed the civic officials, but in vain. We request the officials to clear the mess as soon as possible, as it is spreading a lot of foul smell and one can fall sick, especially kids."
