Padmaraonagar: On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, a seven-day 'Saptah' celebrations are being held at Sri Sai Kumar Vyadhi Nivaran Ashram, Padmaraonagar.

'Kalyanam,' a sacred wedding ritual, was performed to neem and peepal trees, the embodiments of Goddess Maha Lakshmi and Lord Narayana respectively. These tree deities, an integral part of the Ashram, are revered for their spiritual and medicinal benefits.

They were venerated with due ceremonies in the divine presence of Sri Sri Sri Sadguru Sai Kumar Babaji for the welfare of mankind. Vedic scholars elucidated the benefits that would accrue through divine and charitable activities. Devotees who took part in the festivities revelled in the spiritual bliss that permeated the whole Ashram.
