Secunderabad: Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) vice-president J Ramakrishna refuted charges made by the residents of Sanjeev Nagar Housing Colony that he was behind the uprooting of trees and placing fabrication material in the park at Sanjeev Nagar Housing Colony, Mahindra Hills.

Speaking to media persons, he said that from the past 10 months residents of Sanjeev Nagar Housing Colony had been trying to defame him. Colony residents alleged that Ramakrishna was trying to grab a portion of the land. There are 82 plots out of the 40% of layout-land, they are 4 parks in the colony.

It may be noted that responding to the complaint from the colony residents, the Army personnel razed an illegal structure on the park. The colony members alleged that the structure belongs to J Rajesh, brother of Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) vice-president Ramakrishna.

Ramakrishna said that after several joint surveys, Cantonment had earmarked the land, which is very much authenticated in the layout and temporary fencing was installed and a permanent wall is being constructed."I am resorting to legal remedies,"said Ramakrishna.
