Sentenced to life for killing wife
The LB Nagar IV ADJ Court on Friday convicted an accused by name J Krishnaiah to undergo life imprisonment for killing his wife in 2011.
LB Nagar: The LB Nagar IV ADJ Court on Friday convicted an accused by name J Krishnaiah to undergo life imprisonment for killing his wife in 2011. According to LB Nagar Police, on December 13, 2011, the complainant Y Suhasini (19) lodged a complaint in LB Nagar police station alleging that her sister J Sujatha (28) was staying with her husband and three children.
Since her husband Krishnaiah was addicted to alcohol and frequently used to beat her and children, she started staying in a hostel with her two sons. Later, suspecting her character on December 13, 2011, he killed Sujatha by hitting her with a pestle on her head.
Police registered a case under 498 (A) and 302 IPC and arrested the accused. After completion of the investigation, they filed charge-sheet and during the trial of the case on Friday the IV ADJ Court at LB Nagar convicted him to undergo life imprisonment and pay a fine of Rs 6,000.
