The Shivaji Nagar Road in Secunderabad has become an unauthorised dumping yard. The stretch is filled with garbage, which emits a foul smell. The locals have been facing problems for the past one month.
Secunderabad: The Shivaji Nagar Road in Secunderabad has become an unauthorised dumping yard. The stretch is filled with garbage, which emits a foul smell. The locals have been facing problems for the past one month.
"The locals are facing severe hardships due to the stench emanating from the garbage. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) earlier used to clean the garbage at least weekly once but now they don't any longer bother to clean this area," said Srikanth, a local, while speaking to The Hans India here on Monday.
"The menace of pigs and dogs has increased because of the food waste and other domestic waste, which is causing inconvenience over here and several complaints have been made to the authorities concerned about the unattended garbage and also to remove the trash but no action is taken yet," criticised one K Jayesh.
