The poor condition of the lake in Langar Houz Park has become a matter of concern for the locals and the visitors.

Aman T, a visitor to the lake said, "The condition of the lake has become pathetic. And with the passage of time the its condition has been worsening. Every time I visit the lake, this very unpleasant smell welcomes me. It is very difficult for a person to stay for even more than 10 minutes. The drainage of the local households flows into the park."
"The locals have been utilising the lake as a dumping ground. The locals come and dump their garbage here. There is an indiscriminate dumping of garbage and other waste including old clothes and plastic waste," said another visitor.
"The dumping of garbage is definitely going to cause health hazards for the locals and visitors. This issue needs to be taken into action by the officials as soon as possible," he added.
