Stone laid for works worth 2.45 cr

Serilingampally: Local MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and Madhapur Corporator V Jagdishwar Goud on Monday laid the foundation for the creation of several basic facilities.

Works in Madhapur division will be done at an estimated cost of Rs 2.45 crore. The facilities are intended to lay path for a planned development of the division, as envisaged by the state government, they said.

Goud said Manjira pipeline has already been completed 95%, and that the officials concerned are ready to take up some junction work. He announced that CC roads would be laid in areas where the Manjira pipeline and underground drainage have been completed. The new UGD work would replace the 15-year-old lines.
