Incidents of stray dog attacks rises in Hyderabad with 2 deaths reported in two months

Hyderabad : In another incident of attacks by stray dogs in city, a boy was seriously injured in Dilsukhnagar on Thursday. The alert residents quickly came to the rescue of the boy but by then the boy had already sustained injuries in the attack.

It is to mention here that a similar incident took place in Nandi Musalaiguda under the jurisdiction of Hyderabad’s Bahadurpura Police Station in November, where a six-year-old boy also suffered serious injuries after a stray dog attacked him. The boy was rushed to Niloufer Hospital where he was treated.

Similarly, a five-year-old boy became the victim of stray dogs attack and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

A 13-year-old girl identified as Komalla Maheswari died due to the stray dogs attack, while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. She, was a class 7 student at Pochammapalli government model school. She was attacked by stray dogs while doing her school homework outside her residence in Pochammapalli village on the outskirts of Manokondur Mandal headquarters. She underwent treatment for almost 40 days and later succumbed to injuries.
