Students took an active part in different competitions held at the Nehru Zoological Park on the occasion of International Tiger Day on Sunday. Slogan writing and drawing competitions were conducted for the students.

Bahadurpura: Students took an active part in different competitions held at the Nehru Zoological Park on the occasion of International Tiger Day on Sunday. Slogan writing and drawing competitions were conducted for the students. On the occasion, a short documentary film on tiger was screened at the Bioscope Hall for the entire day.

N Kshitija, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, distributed the prizes to the winners. Students from RBVRR College and St Ann's College for Women, Mehdipatnam, along with orphan home students and representatives of other organisations, and visitors participated in a rally from Natural History Museum to tiger moat, chanting slogans of 'Save Tiger Save Forest.' A talk show on tigers was conducted at the tiger moat area where the visitors interacted with the animal keepers and the zoo education officer.

Samhitha, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Bhavani Shankar, Assistant Curator, Bhooma Devi and D Nagaraju, Deputy ROs, M Sandeep, biologist, Swetha, education officer, H M Hanifulla, PRO, and other staff were present.
