Students donate blood to mark Azad Day fete
As a pact of the ongoing Azad Day celebrations a blood donation camp was organised with Life care Foundation in Health Centre of the University on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: As a pact of the ongoing Azad Day celebrations a blood donation camp was organised with Life care Foundation in Health Centre of the University on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, NSS Coordinator Professor Mohammad Fariyad appreciated the students for coming forward to donate blood. About 50 volunteers came to donate the blood. Another 60 students took part in Maulana Azad Photo Competition cum Exhibition which was organised on Monday at the University.
Professor Ayub Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) while inaugurating Blood Donation Camp expressed his views he said, "Blood is life, giving blood is equal to saving someone's life. Student volunteers donating life are doing great service to humanity."
