Digithon Industry Tour which is first of its kind in the country has received an outstanding response. Students from various districts attended the industry tour on “Artificial Intelligence” organised under the guidance of Telangana Information Technology Association – Digithon, Phoenix IT Park.
Hyderabad : Digithon Industry Tour which is first of its kind in the country has received an outstanding response. Students from various districts attended the industry tour on "Artificial Intelligence" organised under the guidance of Telangana Information Technology Association – Digithon, Phoenix IT Park.
They discussed with the experts about the industry. In addition to their live feel, they have also featured their innovations to the audience. In this occasion, the students were given participation certificates.
In the modern technological era, the new changes in technology have a large range of opportunities in artificial intelligence and machine learning market. By the end of 2025, the AIA industry will be able to generate more jobs and also to reach the turnover of $ 60 billion.
With this background, Digithon organized the industry tour in the name of 'Industry Showcase – 2019' on Sunday. To participate in this Industry tour, 726 applications were received but due to the limitations, only 80 students were selected.
During this tour, students were given comprehensive knowledge on artificial intelligence. Full awareness and knowledge was provided on the basic aspects and also about job opportunities during the session held on artificial intelligence.
During the tour, the organisers challenged the students on various aspects, for which the students responded innovatively and completed the projects. In addition to this, they made presentations on small projects along with their learnings. Later, they visited companies along with the IT experts and got clarified their doubts. Also, the organisers created a 10-member group by the name "Walk with IT Expert" and gave live learning experience to the students.
Subsequently, Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Global President, TITA, distributed certificates to the students. On the occasion, while addressing the gathering, Makthala said that this tour created curiosity among the students in artificial intelligence sector.
Initially, the technology is limited to manufacturing sector, but now AI is bieng introduced into various other sectors. The feedback of students on this industry tour would be used to organise more such kind of tours, he added.
