Traffic jams become a norm at Old Alwal
Traffic jams have become a common issue at Old Alwal for past few months and are causing problem to the commuters. Especially pedestrians are finding it hard to cross the road.

Some commuters concerned had posted about this issue in the social media, seeking attention of authorities. They complaine that there is no one to monitor the traffic in this area. V Ranganath, a commuter, said that the traffic issue has become intolerable especially during morning hours. Especially, the job holders feel much helpless and frustrated, as they get stuck in a traffic jam in this area and report late to the office.
J Kiran said that they were at a loss to cross the road as vehicles keep coming and going from both the sides of the road. Even the locals over here request the Alwal traffic department to allot a traffic police in this area to control the traffic for the smooth flow.
