Saifabad: The Telangana Students' Joint Committee (JAC) leaders on Thursday represented to the CCS Cyber Crime police demanding action against those resorting to 'false propaganda' in social media against Education Minister G Jagdish Reddy.

The representation, submitted by JAC leader Dudimetla Balraj Yadav, stated that Reddy was shown in the social media drinking liquor, whereas he was actually taking 'Ugadi pachadi'. It wanted those responsible to be arrested.

Yadav also cited the example of false propaganda against the State government and ministers on Face Book with morphed photos. "This is hurting people's sentiments," the petition said.
