University Contract Teachers members stage protest

Osmania University: University Contract Teachers (UCT) staged protest in front of Arts College here on Tuesday demanding implementation of 7th Pay Revision Commission (PRC).

A total of three UCT associations took out a rally from Arts College to administration building. They demanded three per cent annual increments. They expressed ire stating that they were nowhere working less than regular staff.

They threatened to intensify agitation if their demands are not met. Dr A Parusuram, Dr Dharma Teja, Dr V Kumar, contract teachers from Kakatiya University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Jawharlal Nehru Technological University and IIT Basara took part in the protest.
