Vigilance Week prog underway at Controller of Defence Accounts
The Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA), Secunderabad, has been observing the Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 2. The theme of awareness week for this year is ‘Integrity - A way of life.’
Secunderabad: The Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA), Secunderabad, has been observing the Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 2. The theme of awareness week for this year is 'Integrity - A way of life.' The purpose of Vigilance Awareness Week is to generate awareness in the public at large about the ill-effects of corruption.
The 'week' started with a pledge by the officers and staff of CDA. The inaugural session was conducted at Multipurpose Hall of PAO (ORs) AOC, Secunderabad. VV Lakshminarayana, the former CBI JD, graced the inaugural session and spoke about integrity, importance of its awareness, measures for curbing and eradicating corruption. Controller K Venkata Rao, IDAS, emphasised the commitment to achieve the goals of promoting integrity, transparency and accountability in public life.
