Water logging causes hardships to commuters
Local residents and commuters have been facing a lot of hardships on account of overflow of drainage water in Citizen Colony at Old Alwal. This area suffers from water drainage issues mainly during the monsoon season as the drainage system is not being properly maintained.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Monday, Nageshwara Rao, a resident of Citizen Colony said "It has become very difficult to take a walk and drive through this area in vehicles. The unattended drainage along with the rain water is leading to more sewage water stagnation which is causing lot of hurdles in the movement of people.''
K Aparna, a resident of Citizen Colony said "During rains, along with the drainage problem, the water gets piled up with plastic wastes gets stuck in the water. This issue pops up in this season which makes it evident for the people which disturbs and causes health issues."
