Zoo celebrates Suzi's 33rd birthday

The Nehru Zoological Park on Tuesday celebrated the birthday celebrations of Chimpanzee named ‘Suzi’ aged about 33 years. The mammal’s enclosure was arranged with different types of fruits and vegetables, while giving priority to her taste.
Bahadurpura: The Nehru Zoological Park on Tuesday celebrated the birthday celebrations of Chimpanzee named 'Suzi' aged about 33 years. The mammal's enclosure was arranged with different types of fruits and vegetables, while giving priority to her taste.
According to zoo officials, Suzi was gifted to Nehru Zoological Park by the Sahara Group supremo in 2011. To celebrate the event, the zoo management organised a get-together with young visitors, animal keepers and veterinary staff to cut the cake close to its enclosure.
N Kshitija, the Curator, M A Hakeem, Deputy Director, G Gnyaneshwar, M Bhavani Shankar, Satish Babu, Assistant Curators and other officials were also present on the occasion.
