The Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, released Rs 25 lakh for DST-CURIE-AI centre at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) as 2nd phase grant.

Tirupati: The Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, released Rs 25 lakh for DST-CURIE-AI centre at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) as 2nd phase grant.

The DST has established DST-CURIE-AI centres only in women universities in India while SPMVV is one among them. Using this grant, faculty projects, student internships, FDPs on augmented reality, national conferences, and a 3-month certificate course on Augmented Reality for students have been announced by Vice-Chancellor Prof D Bharathi.

Vice-Chancellor and Registrar Prof N Rajani have appreciated coordinator of DST-CURIE-AI Prof S Jyothi, assistant coordinator Dr P Bhargavi and other team members on the occasion.
