Engineers’ services crucial for country’s development: MLA Naini
Hanumakonda: Engineers play a vital role in the development of the country by creating quality infrastructure and ensuring better civic amenities, Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy said on Tuesday.
Speaking at an Engineers’ Day programme held at the Hanumakonda District People’s Representatives Office, the MLA paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, along with engineering officials and public representatives.
Naini said Visvesvaraya’s contributions to the nation and engineering sector continue to inspire future generations.
He urged engineers to work with dedication to improve roads, drainage, drinking water and other basic facilities.
Officials and public representatives requested funds for constructing a new building for the ZP office, citing the poor condition of the existing structure. The MLA assured them that he would take up the matter with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He also promised to seek funds for the development of the historic Arts College and Kakatiya University during the Chief Minister’s proposed visit to Hanumakonda next month.
