Auto driver arrested for molesting 22-year-old in Delhi

New Delhi: The police have arrested a 45-year-old auto driver for molesting a young woman in the Mukherjee Nagar area in Northwest of Delhi on Thursday.

According to the police, the incident happened on December 2nd. The 22-year-old woman of Gokulpuri has taken an auto, and on the way, the driver stooped the vehicle at an isolated place and tried to molest her.

When she resisted and raised the alarm, he fled away with her mobile phone. Over the incident, the victim lodged a complaint with the police station. On receiving the information, the police registered a case, initiated an investigation and arrested the accused.
