Rajitha Murder Case: Rachakonda CP present accused before media
In the sensational murder case of Rajitha, the police have presented the accused Keerthi and her boyfriend Sashi Kumar in front of the media on Thursday.
Hyderabad: In the sensational murder case of Rajitha, the police have presented the accused Keerthi and her boyfriend Sashi Kumar in front of the media on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat has disclosed the case details to the press reporters. He said that according to a plan, Keerthi and Sashi had killed Rajitha.
CP said the investigation revealed that earlier Keerthi tried to kill her mother Rajitha by giving her sleeping pills. In the name of friendship, Keerthi's boyfriend raped her, and she becomes pregnant. With the help of another friend Sashi, she gets an abortion. Later, Sashi also developed a physical relationship with her.
Sashi, who had an eye on Keerthi's property, took control over her and planned to murder her mother Rajitha. They both killed Rajitha and left her dead body near Ramannapeta railway track.
Mahesh Bhagwat said that the Rajitha's murder case was like a sequel to Drushyam move. He noted that four cases have been booked against the accused in this murder case. Keerthi's boyfriend Balreddy booked under Section 376/22 & N, 312 and Section 5 and 6 under POCSO Act. Keerthi and Sashi booked under 302, 201, 203, and another case under Section r/w 34 of IPC.
The police confirmed that the accused killed Rajitha as she refused Keerthi marrying Sashi. However, after the murder, Keerthi tried to escape. She called Balreddy as Rajitha by changing the voice and made him believe that she is going to Vizag. She planned to trap him by saying to look after Keerthi as she is at home.
On the other side, Sashi had taken the photos and videos with Keerthi when they were close and blackmailed her. As a result, she uses to do whatever Sashi says, and with the fear of him, Keerthi killed her mother. CP Said.
