Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. ManoharLal has called upon the private companies to come forward to spend their CSR funds. Companies can do social work by contributing on various subjects like tree plantation, environmental protection, drug de-addiction, cleanliness.

The Institute of Driving Training and Research opened in Karnal is an institute established from CSR fund. The Chief Minister extended gratitude towards Honda Company for materialising this. He said that Honda Company started its journey in 1999 from Gurugram. He also wished them to move forward in the same way in future.

Haryana Chief Minister said that private companies have to spend 2 percent of their profits as CSR. Companies do different types of social work from this fund. Due to this, the Haryana Government has formed a separate CSR Trust.

The Chief Minister himself is the chairman of this trust. He said that many companies working in the state are coming forward to spend their CSR funds under this trust. He also called upon other companies to equally contribute to this work.

Atsushi Ogata, Chairman, Honda India said that Honda is working vigorously for road safety. He thanked the Chief MinisterManoharLal for setting up an Institute of Driving Training and Research in Karnal.
