New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has ordered an interim release of the outstanding salaries of MCD doctors in Delhi.
The High Court has also issued a notice to the Central Government, Delhi Government and others on its suo motu Petition after taking cognisance of a report regarding non-payment of salaries to doctors of MCD for the last 3 months.
In the letter sent to the Additional Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital in Delhi amid Corona crisis, the doctors wrote, "It is reported that resident doctors have not been paid salaries for the last three months.
No work, no pay. If the salary is not paid by June 16, we will resign collectively.
