MEERUT: On Saturday, in Bulandshahr, Jahangirabad a two-year-old girl was electrocuted after she put a mobile charger in her mouth.

The incident occurred because someone had switched on the charger for their mobile phone at home but left the charger unattended with the switch still on.

On Friday, Razia, the mother of the two-year-old, Shehvar had come to visit her mother. Originally residing in Mustafabad with her husband, Razia had come to meet her mother in Ansariyan colony of Jahangirabad in Bulandshahr.

Akhilesh Pradhan, the station house officer of Jahangirabad police station had said, "The family has not approached us with any police complaint, so a case has not been filed. However, if somebody approaches us for a complaint, it will be done according to the norms."
