Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah has said that it was not a political move to abrogate Article 370 and to bifurcate J&K into two union territories. He made the statement in the Lok Sabha today.
"Kashmir is the integral part of India. Every time I say Jammu and Kashmir, it includes Pak-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Aksai Chin," the Home Minister said.
Kashmir ki seema mein PoK bhi aata hai…Jaan de denge iske liye! (PoK also falls within the boundaries of Kashmir. We will give our lives for it)," he said.
The Centre introduced the bill in Rajya Sabha on Monday, and the bill was cleared. Today, the bill is being debated in the Lok Sabha.
