Sankara eye foundation holds fund-raising event in California
Sankara eye foundation has conducted the annual fund-raising event at Fremont in California, which was attended by nearly 1000 NRI's.
Sankara eye foundation has conducted the annual fund-raising event at Fremont in California, which was attended by nearly 1000 NRI's. The foundation members Venkat Maddipati and Sudheer Chemudugunta have welcomed the guests at the event. Padma Shri Dr. RV Ramani, Founder & Managing Trustee of Sankara eye foundation was the chief guest. On this occasion, he facilitated the foundation members.
The Sankara eye foundation chairman Murali Krishna Murthy said that so far under the foundation nine eye hospital was built, performed more than 20 lakh eye tests, which improved eyesight to many. The foundation spokesperson Venkat Maddipati has urged the NRIs to extend their support for building eye hospitals in Hyderabad, Bihar, Mumbai, and Indore. Nearly 3 lakh dollars have been raised through this event, which is utilized in constructing the eye hospitals in India.
