Sankaramanchi ParthasarathyThe three-day cultural festival of Kalamanjari, in memory of Jandhyala, concluded with staging of the play ‘Nachavoyi Narayana’ playlet at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College in the city on Friday. The Young Theatre Artistes Association staged the comedy playlet written by Veerla Varaprasad and directed by R Vasu. 

The good performance of artistes of the playlet was well appreciated by the audience. The organisers of the cultural festival honoured famous writer Sankaramanchi Parthasarathy with Jandhyala Memorial Award to mark the 14th death anniversary of Hasya Brahma. 

Speaking on the occasion, Sankaramanchi observed that Jandhyala set a benchmark for wholesome entertainment by making films of comedy genre. MC Das, AV Ramana, PV Lakshmi Nrusimham, N Gopalakrishna, Polavarapu Raja Venkata Sobhanadri and others were present.
