Book releases mark 3rd day of book festival

Vijayawada: The third day of Vijayawada Book Festival marked the release of as many as four books by Emesco and Navachethana publishing houses. A talk show with personality trainer and writer Dr B V Pattabhiram was held at the venue here on Sunday.

Three books were out from Navachethana publishing house namely 'Jampaba Novels (1 and 2)' by Valluru Sivaprasad, 'Rudrabhatla Narasingarao Rachanalu' by Thati Srikirshna and a translation of Earnest Hemmingway titled 'Ghantaravam' by Nanduri Rajagopal. Penugonda Lakshminarayana presided over the event.

Followed by it is the inauguration of a book titled 'Vothidi kuda Varame' written by Dr B V Pattabhiram and published by Emesco. Chairman of the Legislative Council Chakrapani, Central Hindi Commission Chairperson Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, retired IAS officer K Prabhakar Reddy, Dr Indla Ramasubba Reddy and others released the book.

Speaking on the occasion, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad said that the books on mental strength and training of attitude could help readers to adapt to their current situations. Books by Pattabhiram help both young and adults to mold their situations, he said.

Dr Indla Ramasubba Reddy said that the title 'Vothidi Kuda Varame' emphasizes the need for some amount of optimal stress for productivity. Stress also comes from positive things in life, he described.

Emesco Managing Director Vijay Kumar, Regional Editor of Andhrajyoti K Srinivas and others were present.
