Cricket talent hunt on Thursday and Friday
Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) is organising selection trails under the name ’Cricket Talent Hunt’ where, selected candidates would be sent for a hands-on training to Andhra Cricket Academy (ACA).

The selections will take place at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium (IGMC) on July 28 and 29.
In a release to the media here on Monday, secretary of KDCA A Yella Rao mentioned that association is looking for talented young, who can prove their mettle if given an opportunity. To enable more youngsters realise their dream so as to produce more eligible cricketers from the region, the programme has been initiated, he said.
Accordingly, the selections for aspirants under- 14 years of age will begin from 8 am on the first day. From 2.30 pm, candidates under 16 years of age will be tested for their merit. On the second day, under- 19 and under- 23 category selections would be held on the same slots. Participants are advised to come in white sports attire along with their kits for selection trails, added Yella Rao. Players who have represented in any District or State Teams of Andhra are not allowed to participate in the selection trails.
