A long awaited desire of the women artists has come true. The women artists of the Telugu World Artists Art Society in association with the department of Language and Culture of AP has organised a two day art cam at Bapu museum in the city on Thursday.

A long awaited desire of the women artists has come true. The women artists of the Telugu World Artists Art Society in association with the department of Language and Culture of AP has organised a two day art cam at Bapu museum in the city on Thursday. Over 32 women artist from across the state have come to take part in this art camp.

The department of language and Culture, Director D Vijaya Bhasker inaugurated the art camp and said that the art camp was just a beginning and the government is more focused in promoting women artists. He also said that the department would organise many more workshops, art camps and exhibitions with women artists in coming days.

The Cultural center of Amaravati and Vijayawada, CEO Dr Emani Siva Nagi Reddy complemented all the women artists of the art camp and said that the talent of the women should be encouraged on a higher note. The director of Archeology, G V Ramakrishna and other government officials and artists took part in the inaugural event.
