Whistling her way into records
Madhira Roja Prasannata is a city based upcoming music artiste who gives performances in Whistles. In the earlier days, noted stage artiste Raghuramaiah was famous for ‘Eelapata’ and Eelapata had become his surname.

Similarly, Roja Prasannata is also striving hard to get the same name and fame. To attain a record, she has to whistle in songs for three hours to register herself in the Wonder Books of Records and Genius Books of records and she did it.
The certificates were presented to Roja Prasannata by Dr Nadipalli Ravikumar, Representative, Wonder Book of Records and also Genius Books of Records in a programme organised by Sri Durga Malleswara Ganesh seva Samithi headed by Koganti Satyanarayana at Siddhartha auditorium.
During the programme the artiste presented many popular film songs (on Whistle) and received lauds of appreciations from the art lovers of Vijayawada.
Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission Chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari appreciated the skills of Roja Prasannata and also said that Roja Prasannata deserves many more awards. The meeting was presided over by noted Personality of city Dr MC Das.
