‘Little Chefs Culinary Camp\', a 12-day free chef training programme for children aged between 8 to 14 years by Westin College of Hotel Management (WCHM) in the city concluded on Friday.  

‘Little Chefs Culinary Camp', a 12-day free chef training programme for children aged between 8 to 14 years by Westin College of Hotel Management (WCHM) in the city concluded on Friday.

WCHM director K Durga Prasad said that the main objective of conducting the camp was to imbibe cooking skills, encourage children to learn Healthy, Nutritious recipes, Identify different foods from different countries and inculcate good practices in cooking. About 15 various recipes were taught at the camp.

He said that in the chef training camp, the children learned to cook various recipes which could come in handy for them during their busy school schedules. He said that children learned about hygiene practices and healthy food preparation as well. Area manager of Indian Gas Vijayawada Meera Nair, presented participation certificates to children.
