International Yoga day rally
A massive rally has been taken out in Tanuku as part of International Yoga Week celebrations which started on Thursday.
A massive rally has been taken out in Tanuku as part of International Yoga Week celebrations which started on Thursday. The SKSD Group of Colleges Founder Secretary and Correspondent Chitturi Subba Rao flagged off the rally at SCIM Government Degree College. The rally passed thorough main fares of the Town and reached the SKSD Mahila Kalasala.
The programme started by the lamp being lit by Dr Kambhampati Subrahmanyam, Pro-Chancellor, Vivekananda Yoga University, Bengaluru. The opening statement started by President’s remarks Chitturi Subba Rao said that he started practicing in Yoga since years and he had seen the benefits how to overcome the stressful life in this modern era.
He wants to expand yoga to the nearby villages and all the families need to inculcate Yoga in their daily routiens. He came out with a proposal to start a degree course in Yoga in their curriculum. A Satya Sridhar, Yoga instructor, Nuzvidu IIIT thanked the institution for calling him and his team for the performance in Yoga.
All the merit students who are from financial backward classes got an opportunity to perform Yoga in front of Hon’ble Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and we will be going to perform in National level to in the presence of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On this occasion Mallina Rama Chandra Rao, Tatina Ramabrahmam, Chitturi Satya Usha Rani, Treasurer - Nandigam Sudhakar, D Subba Rao- AO, Director -J Chandra Prasad, Principals, Vice-Principals, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff participated in the programme along with the students.
