State-level fencing tournament from tomorrow
The Prakasam District Fencing Association has announced that the fourth state-level fencing tournament will be organised at the PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences near Valluramma temple from December 10 to 13.
Ongole: The Prakasam District Fencing Association has announced that the fourth state-level fencing tournament will be organised at the PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences near Valluramma temple from December 10 to 13.
The district president of the association, Balisetty Nageswara Rao said that the Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister, Nimmakayala China Rajappa, Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao, Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao, Kondapi MLA Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, MLCs Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy would participate in the inaugural ceremony.
He informed that about 624 players from the 13 districts of the state had registered to participate in the tournament.
The state fencing association president and district general secretary, V Nageswara Rao, district Telugu Yuvata vice-president Kunapareddy Siva, fencing trainers RN Chiranjeevi, G Harsha Vardhan and others participated in the meeting.
