MLEC student wins gold medal in Kung Fu
A student from Malineni Lakshmaiah College of Engineering in Singarayakonda won a gold medal in the 75 KG category of national-level Kung Fu and Karate Championship conducted at Chilakaluripet recently.
Singarayakonda: A student from Malineni Lakshmaiah College of Engineering in Singarayakonda won a gold medal in the 75 KG category of national-level Kung Fu and Karate Championship conducted at Chilakaluripet recently.
According to a press note from the college, Chairman Dr Malineni Lakshmaiah spoke on the occasion that NJ Mahesh, a student of the college participated in the national-level tournament held as part of the Dr BR Ambedkar birthday celebrations at Chilakaluripet by New Shaolin Kung Fu Academy.
The student won gold medal and received a memento from the organisers. Malineni Lakshmaiah said that the students of the college had actively been participating in extracurricular activities. He appreciated Mahesh for his win and the physical director N Subbarao for training the students.
The college principal Dr K Venkateswarlu, CEO Purnachandra Rao, in charge chairman Brahmaiah, teaching and non-teaching staff also appreciated the student.
