CRR preps for Sports and cultural meet
Sir CR Reddy Educational Institutions governing body president Kommareddy Rambabu and secretary NVK Durga Rao on Friday said that sports and cultural meet would be conducted at Sir CR Reddy College grounds from December 27 to 29.

The sports and cultural meet organising committee meeting was held at the CRR administrative building, MRC Bhavan here on Friday.
Speaking at the meeting, Rambabu said that the sports and cultural meet would be conducted in two categories of ‘Under 17’ and ‘17+’. “The students excelling in sports would be trained and given due merit,” he said.
The selected to teams would represent the institution in the state and national-levels.Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Kho Kho and Kabaddi are to be held between December 27 and 28.
In the cultural category, classical dance and ballet would be conducted on December 29 on a patriotic theme. Solo competitions in folk and classical dance will also be held.
He informed that as many as 719 students from the CRR institutions would participate in the events. From next year, the CRR institution would conduct inter-college sports and games meet, he added.
