Eluru: Noted Kuchipudi dancer and choreographer KV Satyanarayana has been conferred the ‘Devadasi’ National Award at the dance festival held at the pilgrim centre in Puri, Odisha.
The 12th Devadasi International Dance Festival was held in Puri from December 15 to 17 in which classical dancers performed of national and international repute. KV Satyanarayana, who hails from Eluru received the prestigious Devadasi National Award for his services to the Kuchipudi dance.
Satyanarayana said that he was happy to receive the Devadasi National award and thanked the Devadasi Mandir Committee of Puri on the occasion.
