Happy Sunday evoking good response: Civic chief
Hundreds of people witnessed cultural programmes at Pushkar Ghat which were conducted to mark Happy Sunday. Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation has been organising the Happy Sunday programme for the past 61 weeks.

As part of it, students of all educational institutions, private dance and music institutes performed in the event. The corporation is providing an opportunity on ‘first come, first serve’ basis as many have been registering their names in the corporation to participate in the weekly programme.
Solo dances, group dances, yoga, playlets, gymnastics, and music concerts are among the many events that are part of Happy Sunday.
RMC Commissioner V Vijayarama Raju has been supervising the programme and appealed the people to participate in the Happy Sunday programme in large numbers. “The three-hour programme has been receiving tremendous response,” he said.
