Encourage children’s literature, says NBT regional director

Vijayawada: National Book Trust (Hyderabad) regional director Pattipaka Mohan felt that there is a need to encourage children literature.

He addressed a meeting at Makineni Basavapunnaiah Vignana Kendram here on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, he stressed the need to conducting Balotsav on the lines of Brahmotsavams.

Event managers associated with Amaravati Balotsavam held during the first week of December were felicitated. Speaking on the occasion, Pattipaka Mohan urged the government to announce incentives to those who study in the mother tongue.

Kendra Sahitya Academy award recipient Vallabhaneni Vallabha Rao was felicitated by Balotsav honorary president Chaluvadi Mallikarjuna Rao.
