Achieve land acquisition for railway line: Collector
District Collector Kartikeya Mishra, ordered the revenue and railway officials to complete the acquisition of the necessary land for the development of Kotipally -Narsapuram railway line and amending process in the alignment here on Tuesday.
Kakinada: District Collector Kartikeya Mishra, ordered the revenue and railway officials to complete the acquisition of the necessary land for the development of Kotipally -Narsapuram railway line and amending process in the alignment here on Tuesday.
Mishra conducted a review meeting with the railway officials and revenue officials on the progress of land acquisition at the collectorate here on Tuesday evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Mishra informed that the land which was acquired from Kotipalli to Nagam Bhatnavilli was handed over to the railways. Mishra also asked the officials to deploy the dedicated teams from Railways, Survey and Revenue departments to intensify the process of land acquisition at Bhatnavilli, Amalapuram, Bodasakurru, Razole and Chinchinada.
Mishra also directed the officials to take measures for quick settlement of the land-related disputes, which were pending in courts.
He also suggested the officials to avert the damages which could occur during the land acquisition to the cultural heritage sites, tourism assets and the public habitations. He further informed that if the officials cannot nullify the damage Mishra asked them to restrict the damage to a minimum level.
Joint Collector Mallikarjuna, Assistant Collector Anand, Railways Chief Engineer Srinivasa Rao, RDOs Raghu Babu and Venkata Ramana and others participated.
