MLA, Mayor participate in Janmabhoomi
MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao and Mayor Pavani participated in the second day of the fifth phase of Janmabhumi at Gudarigunta here on Wednesday.
Kakinada: MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao and Mayor Pavani participated in the second day of the fifth phase of Janmabhumi at Gudarigunta here on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, Vanamadi listed out their party’s welfare schemes currently in progress. He also said that the eligible applicants would get pension and ration cards in this round of Janmabhumi programme. He requested the residents of the 9th division to apply for the houses in case they haven’t earlier.
He further ordered the corporation staff to take measures to illuminate the streets in the 9th division. He further informed that 108 kinds of medicines were available in the NTR Vaidya Seva programme. Earlier, Mayor Pavani and MLA Vanamadi performed ‘Seemantham’ for pregnant women. Corporation Commissioner Siva Parvathi also spoke in the meeting. Corporators and officials participated in the programme.
