Kodela unveils Veeraiah Chowdary statue
Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao along with others paid tributes to former minister, Dhulipala Veeraiah Chowdary, and unveiled his statue at Chintalapudi village under Ponnur mandal of Guntur district on his 24th death anniversary on Wednesday.

TDP state president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao, Minister for R&B Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, MLAs GV Anjaneyulu and D Narendra Kumar, MLC Payyavula Keshav, former ministers Yadlapati Venkata Rao and Makineni Peda Rattaiah were among those who paid tributes to Veeraiah Chowdary.
Dr Kodela recollected the development works taken up by Dhulipala Veeraiah Chowdary and urged the youth to draw inspiration from him. He said Veeraiah Chowdary’s son Dhulipala Narendra representing Ponnur Assembly constituency has been a success for the development of constituency.
