Gandhiji, Netaji sand sculptures attract visitors

On the eve of Republic Day celebrations, renowned sand artist in the district, Devina Srinivas sculpted the Gandhiji and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose sculptures at NTR Beach, Vakalapudi here on Thursday.
Kakinada: On the eve of Republic Day celebrations, renowned sand artist in the district, Devina Srinivas sculpted the Gandhiji and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose sculptures at NTR Beach, Vakalapudi here on Thursday.
Speaking to ‘The Hans India’, Srinivas said that Gandhiji stood for peace and Netaji for boldness. He said that Gandhiji and Netaji symbolise ‘Shanti’ and ‘Shauryam’. It took 13 hours to create the sand art.
