City witnesses Civil Services Cricket Tourney
A match was held between RNB Kanpur and RNB Ranchi teams at Siddhartha Medical College grounds on the third day of All India Civil Services Cricket Tournament on Monday.
Vijayawada: A match was held between RNB Kanpur and RNB Ranchi teams at Siddhartha Medical College grounds on the third day of All India Civil Services Cricket Tournament on Monday.
RNB Ranchi team opted to bat first. The team was all out after scoring 109 runs in the stipulated 19 overs. Anoop Kumar Singh scored 31. The opponent team RNB Kanpur scored 110 for the loss of one wicket in just 12.5 overs. Prasoon Joshi scored 46 not out and pulled a 9-wicket-win for his team.
Afternoon match was held between RNB Patna and Chhattisgarh. Patna team won the toss and opted to bat first. It scored 65 runs in 17.5 overs and all out. The second batting team Chhattisgarh scored 66 in just 5.1 overs without losing any wicket. Abhishek Jain scored 37 and Abhishek Bhoud scored 19 to clinch an easy win for the team.
