Compensation to road-widening victims sought
Former Minister and TDP leader Galla Aruna Kumari inspected several development works in the Guntur East Assembly constituency on Friday and enquired about the progress of the development works. She enquired about the details of the widening of Nandivelugu Road and instructed the officials to give compensation to those who lost their lands in the road widening works.

She directed the party leaders to coordinate with the officials and see that all the land owners would get compensation. Later, she inspected underground drainage works and directed the officials to speed up the development works. Later, she went to former MLC Mohhamed Jani's residence and asked about his health condition.
She sought cooperation of Jani for her son and MP Galla Jayadev’s political development. She was accompanied by Guntur East TDP in-charge Maddali Giri, party leaders Shoukat, Golla Prabhakar and Jagarlamudi Srinivas.
