Addressing the media, fertility consultant G Sree Lakshmi said that it was observed that there was a drastic rise in male infertility in the recent times. She said that one in every 10 males was facing infertility problem in the country. In Vijayawada, it was observed that 40 to 45 percent of infertility cases occurring in the age group of 30 to 40 years.
She said that evolving life patterns such as late marriages, late working hours, rising levels of obesity and stress were some key factors for male infertility. She said that NIF provides the most advanced fertility treatment in line with international guidelines with the best technology.
