Sri Bhadrakali Sameta Veereswara Swamy Devasthaam received Rs 24.61 lakh as income during the three-day Maha Shivaratri festival, according to Devasthanam Executive Officer UV Ramana Murthy. The Maha Shivaratri festival celebrations held from February 12 to 14 in the temple situated on the river bed of Akhanda Gowthami Godavari.

Polavaram: Sri Bhadrakali Sameta Veereswara Swamy Devasthaam received Rs 24.61 lakh as income during the three-day Maha Shivaratri festival, according to Devasthanam Executive Officer UV Ramana Murthy. The Maha Shivaratri festival celebrations held from February 12 to 14 in the temple situated on the river bed of Akhanda Gowthami Godavari.

The executive officer said that out of the total income, Rs 5.84 lakh was received through the sale of Rs 300 tickets for VIP darshan. Another Rs 3.55 lakh received through Rs 50 ticket sale, he added. A sum of Rs 2.74 lakh was received through the sale of Rs 20 value tickets. During the three-day festival, the temple received Rs 9.39 lakh through Hundi, he added.
