The QIS Institute of Technology organised a workshop on Verilog Coding for the second and third year electrical and electronics engineering students in the college, announced the college secretary and correspondent, Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao in a statement on Thursday.

They said that Chand Basha, working as a design engineer in SION Semiconductors Private Limited in Bangalore acted as the resourse person for the workshop and explained about the Verilog Coding and its importance. He said that the Verilog Coding would be used in the development of FGPA and VLSI and explained the concepts through power point presentation.

He also gave hands on experience to the students by answering the doubts in lab session. The college principal Dr CV Subbarao, in charge of EEE Shaik Rahamatulla and other teaching staff also participated in the programme.
