Sports meet for boys, girls from today

Deputy Educational Officer P Vishnu Murthi said that a two-day sports meet for boys and girls would be held at municipal stadium here on Saturday and Sunday. The competitions would be held in running, long jump, high jump, discus throw and shot put in senior category.

The students studying in Rajamahendravaram urban and rural mandals along with Rajanagaram, Sitanagaram and Gandepalli mandals can participate in the sports meet. Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation is providing drinking water facility in the stadium. An appreciation letter and memento will be given to first, second and third prize winners.
